1. Permits & Licensing

Planning Department at (302) 736-7010 and schedule an appointment to
discuss your business concept and receive a thorough understanding
of the permits and licensing required by the City to open a business

2. Business Assistance
Second, Main Street Dover recommends that you call our office at
(302) 678-9112 and schedule an orientation appointment to discuss
your business development needs. Main Street Dover will provide you
with a packet containing the leakage study and demographics
conducted of our downtown area, information on loan programs,
available incentives and grants, and available spaces within our
downtown area.
3. Resource Development
Next, Main Street Dover recommends that you visit and review the
list of Resource Development Partners at
www.dovermainstreet.com/Resources.html to obtain assistance on
developing your business and marketing plan, networking with other
small businesses and information sharing.
